I am a Behavior Analyst (BCaBA n° 0-21-19402, ACC-B 21-0017), a specialist teacher in ASD, ADHD and NDD, a trainer and consultant in pedagogy, as well as a supervisor in educational centers and in family contexts.
I was born in France and spent 14 years in Bilbao before moving to the Paris region, where I completed my studies. My professional career began in the healthcare field: I worked for ten years as a nurse, both in Paris and Bordeaux, in an intensive care center. Later, I decided to dedicate myself to teaching. I completed a teaching degree and worked as a teacher for twenty years, eventually becoming a school principal and teacher trainer (certified in teacher training).
Over time, I felt the need to take a new direction in my career, enriching my experience with new knowledge. The reason was personal: I am the mother of a son with severe ADHD, and at the time, we didn't receive the help we needed. That experience prompted me to train in Behavioral Sciences and specialized teaching strategies for children with ADHD, with the goal of offering other families what I didn't have and contributing to transforming the social perception of disability.
Today, my work focuses on:
• Supervision in medical-social centers, children's homes, and specialized ASD units in schools.
• Family supervision: needs assessment, parental guidance, support for difficulties related to sleep, eating, personal hygiene, adjustment to care, and behavioral disorders, both in person and remotely.
• Performing functional assessments with tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS and EFL.
• Training of professionals and families in behavioral strategies, behavior management, and parental guidance.
In addition, I continue to undergo continuous training, such as:
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with the ADN-V model for working with young people.
• Practical functional assessment and competency-based treatment of serious problem behaviors.
• PECS Level 1, TEACCH, nutrition programs, personal hygiene, among others…
